Quite simply, it is a way to say 'shut up faggot' whilst still being able to claim a defensive position. We're still men, still 'the problem' even if the implication is we are substandard diluted versions. 9/
Let's be clear, many men are trans allies, of all sexualities. But gay and bisexual men are an enormous and prevalent part of this. Being part of the queer community we make up a lot of those non-trans male voices, due to shared experience, shared spaces and shared lives. 3/
