Oct 10, 1901: the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and York arrive in Toronto aboard a specially-appointed train prepared by the CPR. The nine-car Royal train included two private cars built for the occasion, the "Cornwall" for daytime use and the "York" for sleeping.
