Douglas Fir Glow Worm. Specifically an adult male. My kitty loves bugs & found one on our deck a few weeks ago and showed me. They do glow, but only as larvae, and the glow is very faint and not at all flashy. The protuberances on the antenna are pheromone-seeking as the adult females are wingless.

Lich is a good emotional support worm. They go to doctor's appointments, festivals, dances, parades, hospitals, and long walks in the woods with me. I have so many pictures of them out and about on adventures! It was hard to choose four. Maybe I'll post them again in the future :3 #lichposting

Last night my neighbor saw me plunging my hand into the soil, grabbing a fistful of worms then raising them triumphantly above my head as I laughed and lightning crashed around me. Going to be difficult to explain that one.
