Just spent a (not so) happy hour reporting podcasts on Spotify who are illegally streaming unabridged audiobooks of my novels. Because of course they are being pirated there. Honestly, it's like whack-a-mole. Lovely #Authors, search Spotify to check if your books have been pirated. Ugh!
Absolutely agree. Who the heck sees AI as SEDUCTIVE? I can't think of a bigger turn-off than a plagiarism regurgitator that spits out stolen words to make lazy people feel like they worked at something. You know what is valuable and seductive? A writer who actually writes every word themselves.

Tickets for a book festival I've loved for years went on sale today but I can't go. With accommodation prices hiked up to ridiculous levels and the cost of attending, it's no longer viable. It's the people I'll miss. Catching up with author chums and readers - always the best part of being there.
My @ko-fi.com page appears to have been hit by a money-laundering scam. Bogus accounts setting up multiple monthly donations from unverified senders over the last 24 hours (screenshots below) I've reported it to Ko-Fi but I've paused all tips and shop sales until it's sorted out. Total nightmare!
