I'm really enjoying FF7 Remake. I'm enjoying the hell out of it but it really feels like the game expects you to be... me. Someone who's played it a bunch of times for 20 years and will get excited to see the cat slide. It's got so much detail and attention, I'm very impressed

Things like Mario Odyssey being 10 years old and the last Dragon Quest being 9 years old DO fuck with me wrt time passing. Those still feel like new games to me and they really aren't

The only benefit I've seen from AI is that it 'outs' who is a grifter in using it, especially from those with cultural power already.
Switch 2 having fancier games is cool but then they are always so many gigabytes in the middle of the era when there is no data on the card and memory costs a fuckload because of a special "express" microsd.
