I think that the only conclusion one can really draw is that there is a clique of tiktok 20somethings that adopted furry culture as an aesthetic to appropriate when they were stuck online in the pandemic, but don't actually have any roots or any interest in the actual fandom and its spaces at large.

hey seattle locals, y'all know the community made skate park at cal anderson park in capitol hill? the fences around it have been torn down and the city is looking to replace it (and the other fenced sporting areas) with pickle ball courts. here's a petition to help stop that! c.org/ZRrmz2dSmf

URGENT: if you’re in the Snoho/King county area and have room for a dog, this sweet baby was abandoned by some neighbors. I have personally handled her and she is super sweet as soon as she’s out of confinement/with people. Her listing photo is awful. Tomorrow is probably her last day.

Anyone know of any furry makers that take commissions to build custom, *PHYSICAL* LED-based neon signs (not digital art)? This is an example of what I’m talking about - F-class sells a few of their own designs in various colors but I haven’t found someone who takes custom commissions so far.
