Amazing work form @emiliepacary.bsky.social and Nora Abrous lab revealing a spatial molecular organisation of dentate gyrus compartments and a functional relevance on adult neurogenesis dynamics, just like shown in the V-SVZ a couple years ago by many groups! Congrats, and now the fun begins!🧠

🎉 Thrilled to share our latest preprint! This work would not have been possible without the invaluable contribution of José López Atalaya and his group. A huge thank you to everyone involved in this collaborative effort! www.biorxiv.org/content/10.6...

A reminder that it is NOT all about neurons in the brain: amazing work from @loulierk.bsky.social lab showing new embryonic domains for the generation of astrocytic heterogeneity!

Delighted to share our work, which reveals a fascinating new aspect of #astrocyte diversity during brain development 🧠 Huge thanks to all co-authors, including our outstanding collaborators 🙏🏼 www.biorxiv.org/content/10.6...

Amazing comparative study from @djabaudon.bsky.social lab between mus musculus and Acomys (spiny mouse) brain development!

Thrilled to shared our new preprint with @djabaudon.bsky.social ! Led by Ilaria Morassut, we explored "the extent to which early brain maturation requires interactions with the outside world". This wouldn't have been possible without our incredible collaborators, specially the @lanevol.bsky.social 🧵

Scientific misconduct is not merely manipulating figures in a publication, getting caught and retracting papers. It has many other facets, some of which still being subjects to different perceptions by the scientists themselves, while they should not. Two classical examples:

Signed. The message should be clear; supporting science progress is not delivered by restrictions of the chances of excellent people to apply. More funding should be allocated to support science, globally and in this case in Europe.

What should Europe do when demand for #ERC funding keeps rising? Restrict access or invest in excellence? Please read our open letter calling for reconsideration of the ERC 2027 resubmission restrictions & for constructive alternatives that preserve openness Consider to share & sign - see below 🧪
