In the current AI hype cycle, notice they first "attacked" the game Go, then protein folding (which they shuttered recently completely: www.engadget.com/2225849/goog...), and now they are focused on mathematics — these harmful insertions of this industry into human cognitive activities and labour...

It is so striking how the demand is not only that we enable Israel to kill with impunity, but further that anyone and anything who might question that impunity, even slightly, must be silenced.

Side note: I remain convinced that you could actually get those high levels of resistance at least twice as fast with a more carefully designed plate. The one in the video was actually too big for optimal evolution, the bacteria spent most of their time moving and not under selection
