Celebrate pride by sending money to trans people in need. We’re one of the poorest demographics facing some of the highest employment discrimination and public life is increasingly being placed out of reach for many of us.

Stuff you can do as an ally 1. Send queer people money and/or give us jobs 2. Get in between queer people and those who intended to do us harm, physically if necessary, but there's a million other ways. 3. Boycott companies that platform oppressors 4. Honestly examine your own gender & sexuality

I am one of those people. Technically I am paid for my theater work, but it is technically a volunteer position and not a job and it is not a living wage. I graduated college at 21, am on the board of two nonprofits, and yet nowhere wants to hire me because I’m autistic.

Let's make it a tiny thread, because Return of the Obra Dinn is also on sale during this event, and it's god damn one of the best games ever. Like, I can't describe just how good this is, but every time you get stuff right it plays a little piece of music that feels so god damn rewarding. Play it!

There's currently a Steam Detective Fest event right now, and there's some very neat games on sale, such as The Séance of Blake Manor, a game that is quite honestly pure genius. I still need to play more of it to give it a proper recommendation, but it's been thoroughly brilliant so far.
