For the sake of artists, the planet, and my own sanity, i have to believe that the bubble will pop. I know it will cause some economic problems and people will lose jobs etc. but the world will be better place without gen ai

Hiyoshi being like 8ft tall. She’s a descendant of lunar colony refugees after the Golden Age collapse made the colony untenable. The height developed in a low G environment stuck due to gene therapy, hardened even generations later. But that lore was retroactively written coz’ tall lady hot. 🥲

Comparing the heights of my main Cyberpunky characters, Rina is 4’11 (without her boots), Lady Hiyoshi is over 8 foot tall, and Neene, who is painfully average (and a love interest for both), is shown for scale. [Lore Below] “During the early 2100s, at the start of the so-called Golden Age, humanity established a massive Lunar colony, it was the base of a colossal Helium extraction mine, as well as a staging point for the Rock Snatchers, a company of set up to tow mineral rich asteroids from the belt back home for processing, this signalled the height of the golden age. Within just a few generations, and owing partly to gene therapy, the children of those first Lunar colonists grew to be far taller than their Earthbound brethren, a result of the Moon’s lesser gravity. The Golden Age didn’t last however, no one remembers when the collapse started, outside of the corporate elite, but amongst the hardest hit was the Lunar colonies, as nations began to collapse and the megacities isolated themselves, forming micronations, a mass exodus from Luna began, unfortunately these refugees were ill suited to Earth’s gravity. Abnormally tall Lunar children are still born today, the gene therapy that allowed their ancestors to thrive upon the Lunar colonies had the unfortunate downside of reinforcing those genes in their offspring despite several generations being born on Earth since, as a result these people often develop defects and illness due to the stress on their bodies. Lunar descendants are amongst the highest population of Cyborgs as a result. Lady Hiyoshi is one such descendant. While Rina Harker WISHES she could blame her height on some illness or quirk of genetic tampering, the truth is she really is just short. :’)
