The whole new AZ Lt Governor position is still so fucking stupid and I don’t know how it fucking passed. Our system of elected succession worked just fine! And it’s a position that literally doesn’t do anything? They have to occupy some other role like a directorship or governor’s staff position?

The Tigers need to pick a lane: fire sale expiring contracts, buy bullpen arms using depth/prospects, or do both. Can’t do this shit of just sitting on your ass doing nothing.

Most of these are (surprise surprise) horrible. The only ones that I could possibly be persuaded to vote for are the grocery tax cap and the school spending requirements. Everything else is a nonstarter for me. The trans athlete ban is extremely bad and we need to do everything to defeat it.

I’m seeing people do the “oh you don’t want your neighborhood to burn in a wildfire? Simply don’t build it out of wood near a forest!” thing re: Spokane and it just… doesn’t sit right with me.

I hate how, if you point out that it sucks when the Dodgers build the death star, everyone assumes you’re in favor of a salary cap or pro-owner. Nuts to that. Both things can be true! I can dislike owners, be pro-labor, but also find it demoralizing when one team gobbles up the best players.
