My most woke opinion I guess is I genuinely think I'd do great living in an anarchist commune (based on my experience of hacker camps). And maybe an anarchist commune is in fact better than my current, very cushy situation.

I did the math: what Morgan Stanley is saying is in their experience a developer can read and interpret about 250 lines of COBOL code in a single day, on average (one developer hour equates to 32 lines of code). I have trouble buying this claim: because it feels *ridiculously* slow.
