It’s very simple and it’s been said over and over but I guess it needs saying continuously: if you deem one group too small to have equal rights you are enabling fascism, not fighting it. The people saying Dems are GREAT on trans rights are not paying attention and/or saying stuff like this.

I think the most frustrating part of the pro-AI argument is the sentiment of “well it’s here to stay, so you have to learn it or get left behind”. Outside of video players which were determined by porn, most prevailing tech wins out by the consumer demand. AI is trying to work the other way around.

The tourists sitting behind me on the streetcar are using AI to navigate and it's giving them hilariously wrong instructions. Telling them to get off at a non-existent stop, get on a non-existent different streetcar, and take that to a different non-existent stop.

Wrote this that I want to say to people who want to join this, but were already boycotting the NYT, so they feel like there's nothing else additional they can do. You can write and tell them you are anyways. You can just lie.

I'm going to note here that you can always write and email and tell them you're boycotting them now, and say why. In other words, you can lie. 1) Remember. Genocide. It's okay to lie to the people trying to kill you in order to exert pressure. 2) I really don't think anyone is cross-referencing to check whether you were actually personally subscribed. They're not saying "heeeey, waitaminnit, Sarah isn't a reader." 3) Even if they do check, whatever, who cares. They're not gonna write back and call you out. Yeah, the money in (real) cancelled subscriptiona matters most. But if you want to yell at them for trans genocide, say whatever you think will make them care. Say you donated money and will stop. Say you're a middle aged cishet white moderate Republican man. It's war and they want to kill us. It's okay to lie to fascists.
