The thing that frustrates me most about this "third gender" stuff is that it's living proof of how transmisogyny is deeply baked into patriarchal cultures, and how the societal refusal to recognize trans womanhood is millennia old, but it's been turned into Noble Gender Savage fanfic by dipshits.
Finished this by @harperminis.bsky.social and it's a delightful blend of comedy of errors thanks to a very ditzy nymph contrasted against the brutal dystopia of the setting--as hilarious as it is deeply sad because of how nymphs are treated. Even Isadora thinks Galene is nothing more than a doll.
