It's so cool seeing authors getting longer book tours so now I can scan down a list of 17 stops for an author whose work I've been reading for like a decade and think, "Dammit, she's not coming to Philly" just like when my all favorite bands post about their tours on Instagram

one thing I miss from the pre-genAI days is that there was no questioning that human nonsense was simply human nonsense. a dog piloting a plane? some silly human toiled over that in photoshop. now, when something is nonsensical, we question if it’s ai and don’t get to enjoy it the same way.

I feel like the issue with the Dodgers getting Skubal has less to do with a need for a salary cap or anything else and more to do with it being boring. Everyone knew that’s where he’d end up. Sports are more fun when there are surprises. This is just uninspired script writing.
