(she/her) 👋 friends call me Jules 🚲 car free and annoying about it 🚃 city enjoyer 📍 south mpls

This truck was just parked on the Hennepin bikeway ramp to Bryant. Minneapolis is too hesitant to put solid barriers (like concrete bollards) to cars where it is obvious we need them, and it’s leading to an infestation of drivers violating spaces where they inconvenience and harm everyone else.

I love showing people my former neighborhood in HOU to show just how much better MPLS’ urban fabric is for walkablity. This time someone else posted it to r/suburbanhell. I lived on the other side of that Walmart in 2022. Let’s keep building a better city, y’all. We have plenty of counterexamples.

Dex, like many others, taught me that our wing is full of folks happy to see new faces and willing to teach me how to navigate its labyrinth of committees. I hope he called to listen to them and their fight for a more open party that fights for trans rights. I'm so proud to call them a friend.

me a year ago: "wait, who does what in the DFL? The CBR what?" me now: "whoops I just accidentally screened a call from the head of the DNC."

Sweet Joon (Hennepin/32nd) hosted the Petals with a sneak peek at their delicious Persian-inspired ice cream after our neighborhood patrol refresher. They’re so excited to be in Uptown and are excited to open soon. Catch them at farmers markets in the meantime. Small business ❤️ Community

if they're gonna call us socialists no matter what we might as well support some socialist policies that bulwark piece is the same thinking that keeps people in the closet. It's operating from fear, not strength.

Trans healthcare is a human right. We are thankful to our DFL Congressional Representatives for voting to protect trans servicemembers, and call on Senators Klobuchar and Smith to vote against Mace’s Amendments.

Transit is not just infrastructure — it is access to jobs, healthcare, education, and opportunity for the people who depend on it most. I advanced the Blue Line Extension from a stalled project with no viable route to a light rail line the community built and demanded. 🧵

Eight Years of Results graphic titled “The Blue Line is coming.” Text notes the light rail will connect North Minneapolis, Robbinsdale, Crystal, and Brooklyn Park to downtown Minneapolis, with unanimous municipal consent, 90% design complete (published May 2026), and federal environmental review complete.Eight Years of Results graphic titled “5 governments. All voted yes.” Text notes every corridor city — Minneapolis, Robbinsdale, Crystal, Brooklyn Park — and Hennepin County approved the Blue Line Extension, after the community found a new route through 46,000-plus conversations when the old route was no longer viable.Eight Years of Results graphic on the Blue Line’s anti-displacement commitment. Text states the project’s purpose is to benefit current residents and businesses, not displace them, citing 46,000-plus community conversations and $2 million through the Anti-Displacement Community Prosperity Program, the first community-led anti-displacement board in the nation.Eight Years of Results graphic titled “What’s at stake” on transit. Text frames the Blue Line as access to jobs, healthcare, education, and opportunity for the people who depend on it most.

Please do something to support the Uptown/Whittier community this week. Support a local business, attend gun reform events, and be with your neighbors. And remember to vote for people that care about our communities enough to get guns off our streets ffs

9 people shot outside the Reign event center on Hennepin Ave in Uptown after midnight last night. All expected to survive. MPD investigating possible drive by shooting. kstp.com/kstp-news/to...

I wish more Minnesota politicians would remember that we have triple the transgender population of most states, plus the families, friends, and colleagues of transgender folks. We are collectively well capable of shifting elections.
