When Pres. Trump and other men demean, belittle, or harass women- it is wrong. When Mayor Her harassed men in her workplace, it is just as wrong. Society often ignores when women sexually harassment men, or make jokes of it. But male victims deserve justice and fair treatment as well.
Too often, victims of sexual harassment (especially in the workplace) are forced into silence and made to endure unsafe working conditions because they cannot speak out. We have to be clear that this is unacceptable in every workplace, and the halls of government are no exception.
As an elected official, Mayor Her has a responsibility to the citizens she represents to comport herself with the utmost integrity and the highest standards. Her actions show a serious lack of judgement and ethical conduct, and the people of St. Paul deserve better.
I have been following the story of St. Paul Mayor Kaoly Her’s repeated sexual harassment of city employees, and in light of this statement it is clearly time for her to resign her position as mayor. This is a breach of ethics and trust, and for Her to refer to it as “attempts at humor” is galling.

Trans healthcare is a human right. We are thankful to our DFL Congressional Representatives for voting to protect trans servicemembers, and call on Senators Klobuchar and Smith to vote against Mace’s Amendments.

A court ruling doesn’t change who belongs in Minnesota. The DFL unequivocally supports the rights of trans, non-binary, two-spirit, and intersex people to participate fully in society.
Trans kids shouldn't have to hope they won the geography lottery when it comes to their ability to play sports. Trans kids should not be banned from sports. That's it.
Re: the image, these aren't decisions that should be up to parents, schools, or sports teams! No one should be allowed to discriminate against trans athletes! Implying otherwise is unconscionable, and it's not what trans people need today!!!
Parents, schools, and sports leagues should not be able to ban trans youth from sports because that is what they think their community wants. Trans youth should not have to hope they are born in the right place at the right time in order to be able to play sports.
