I mean this sincerely: I think pro Israel people really need to begin internalizing that this is not a fringe opinion anymore and in fact is very statistically likely to be the average view of any brown Democratic candidate for office or any candidate under the age of 50

Some replies point out that this argument presupposes that the same physical laws hold outside and inside the simulation. This is true, *but* the pro-simulation arguments also presuppose the simulation is like the real world, which (it is posited) we expect to eventually contain lots of simulations.

It is impossible to run a full quantum simulation of a brain, but there’s nothing stopping you taking an existing brain and feeding it stimuli to see how it responds, which implies you have a brain and (since interstellar travel is impossible), that means it’s happening on Earth where the brains are
