I got a re-review request for a paper, and upon seeing the author refer to an AI overview in their response to reviewers, I emailed the editor to withdraw. Reviewing takes time away from my own research, so I am absolutely not spending a moment reading AI slop out of the goodness of my heart.

You can/should read Emily Wilson's latest take on the Odyssey, but I'm logging on to convey my hairdresser's reaction. She was AGHAST that Nolan, with his million $ budget, gave Matt Damon ONLY 6 hair extensions. As a result, his hair did not blow around properly, & that ruined the film for her.
