Still a leftist.

I think its good to keep up with foreign right wing politics and conspiracies because it really shows you that your own cultures conspiracies are based in nothing and would be invented the exact same way no matter the circumstances

Call it Japan's "War on Christmas." A viral social media post claims that schools will abolish the common "itadakimasu" meal thanksgiving. Just one problem: it isn't true. Read on to learn why this 25-year-old rumor keeps rising from the dead.

"If you care about Jason Arday, stop talking about the circumstances of his death in which I and my colleagues were involved" - coming soon in The Times or whatever piece of shit paper/mag she's writing for now.

The attitude of much of the British towards the public was encapsulated by Laura Kuenssberg in four words in 2019 when she tweeted "this is him here" while linking to the personal profile of a man tending to his sick baby in hospital, who had dared to ask a difficult question of the Prime Minister.

Generative AI is the tool and aesthetic of fascism, and that aesthetic only appeals to middle aged divorced sex predators, billionaires, guys who drive cybertrucks, and guys who don't tip. It's the aesthetic of losers, miserable assholes, and guys with a sexual allegations section in their wiki.

If you ever find yourself wondering how things like the Epstein story happened, consider the mid-level newspaper editor who admitted in a public judicial inquiry that he destroyed a woman’s life and drove her to suicide to try and impress Piers Morgan.

In the wake of Arday's death, Nathan Cofnas (who led the X mob against him) states his motivation. Beyond whistleblowing, he states that after a 'revolution' removes professors like Arday, it will open opportunities for him to become 'head of the department of eugenics and race science at Harvard'.

This is why you don't tolerate censorship in the name of "think of the children!" moral panics. You can never count on it being reasonable people who decide what is worthy of censorship. (notice the currency in the screenshot is GBP)

A screenshot of an online store page with a listing for Pride flag blurred next to a listing for a "prank ornament" of a rubber duck with a dick for a head.
It is captioned "Aliexpress wants me to submit ID to see a pride flag, but the penis duck is fine."

I've said it before though not on here that the next big man made disaster is going to involve the railway. If not that it will be a school roof collapsing. But my bet is railway

As I’ve said before: we got taught it in school but when I first read about it in a general history, I had to google it to make sure I wasn’t reading an absurdly partisan account, and that something so comical had not only happened but was the basis of the modern system. I couldn’t believe it.

Obama swept to power on the anti-Bush anti-imperialism sentiment then spent his time continuing that agenda, justifying the empire, and spewing the same imperialist jingoistic propaganda. You should be thankful of this interpretation, the alternative is Obama and his fans are abnormally stupid

Grotesque response by the Home Office, reassuring far right would-be stormtroopers that they’re on their side and that they have a legitimate point to make, as long as they just tone the violence down and lay off the police

A spokesperson for the Home Office said: "The right to protest is fundamental to our democracy and the concerns of communities are central to our immigration reforms.
"However violence and disorder are never acceptable, and we absolutely condemn the behaviour seen in Thetford, including attacks against frontline police officers."
