"It is hard not to draw the conclusion that the police and Home Office seem to be incapable of an appropriate response to the threat of far-right activity and violence."
Did Kent Police ignore a 999 call?
Contrary to their public statement, HOPE not hate can exclusively reveal that Kent Police were tipped off about the Patriot Platform mobilisation – and seemingly did not act on the information.

“Despite warnings from Hope Not Hate, authorities have failed to act. They have allowed Thomas to agitate, organise & mobilise large groups Last weekend was the consequence of police inaction, and I fear that without decisive action things will only get worse” www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Former head of MI6 Sir Richard Dearlove has warned foreign states have their 'fingerprints' all over public service tech.. "For the sake of Britain’s national security this cannot continue...it risks overseas actors taking control of them (our critical infrastructure) at will.”
Christopher Harborne - the Reform mega donor who gave Farage £5m - is suing ex-Reform deputy leader, Ben Habib. The particulars of claim have now been published. And we need to talk about them. 1/
Nick Robinson on Today is literally talking about ‘legitimate concerns’ after second night of organised men dressed in black - sorry ‘protesters’ - mobilising en masse in another littoral town. This is how street fascism is normalised
Turns out that if you are an old lady with a banner supporting Palestine, the government arrests you on charges of terrorism. If you are a masked white male thug bringing a national port to a standstill, the government does absolutely nothing, and the media covers it like some lads on a day out.
80 year-olds with pro-Palestine signs: arrested as terrorists. Greens planning to block a road, to highlight an existential crisis: sent down for years. Masked far-right thugs blocking roads and ports, using intimidation, obstruction & threatening behaviour: no arrests. The real two-tier policing.
Hundreds marching through the streets dressed in black. No arrests. Imagine living there: as if the SS were marching down your street. And the police turn a blind eye, standing by and watching…🤮
Seems the difference between ‘protestors’ and ‘terrorists’ is that protestors wear balaclavas while terrorists hold placards.
📌 ICYMI: Lest we forget — the key roles of James Orr, Nathan Cofnas, Toby Young and the Free Speech Union in the persecution of Jason Arday One of this month’s most-read stories.

It seems like its always the"ethics" departments that have the highest density of eugenicists of every variety.
Still scarcely any mainstream coverage of this massive story, despite the new and separate scandal involving James Orr. This is not just double standards. I'm struggling to detect any standards at all.
The Jason Arday story is by no means the biggest scandal at Cambridge University. I'm sure the media is going to pick this up and run with it in just the same way ... Or is the exaggerated CV of one Black professor somehow more important than this?
Who are the terrorists: rickety old pensioners waving placards against genocide, or balaclava wearing gangs of men in black blocking roads and intimidating the vulnerable? www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Now James Orr has stepped down as Reform UK's Head of Policy after C4's report, questions remain for Cambridge – where he is Associate Professor. Byline Times revealed serious concerns about his activities there months ago. We all know there won't now be 200+ articles on him and his life don't we?
As someone else has pointed out, Professor James Orr spent 4 years at Oxford's McDonald Centre for Theology, Ethics & Public Life as a postdoc fellow. Of the Ten Commandments, I think the 8th - "thou shalt not bear false witness" - is broken here, but also 1, 7, 9 and 10 are in play
Just a reminder, Professor James Orr, Reform UK head of policy, teaches 'ethics' to undergraduates at Cambridge University youtu.be/aXut3s90rUI

Almost half of terrorism arrests in Great Britain since 9/11 have been in past year
Increase coincides with proscription of Palestine Action last year which has led to thousands of arrests for allegedly supporting the protest group
