Fired by the Trump admin for doing my job. Forever CFPB Union proud: @nteu335.bsky.social Previously: Candidate for the U.S. House in Maryland’s 6th district @ElectAlexis.bsky.social | ElectAlexis.org

Steve is a caring advocate responsible for some of the core infrastructure that helps protect consumers from scams. The Trump CFPB is hell bent on causing harm, and this illegal & arbitrary retaliation against Steve is part of their ongoing devotion to making life worse for ordinary people.

BREAKING: Trump and Mark Paoletta’s CFPB has launched a sham investigation into one of our union leaders. If they thought this would silence and intimidate us, they badly miscalculated. #SolidarityForever

❤️ This win is long overdue. I also want to give flowers to the enduring work of @eddebtjustice.bsky.social led by Eileen Connor. Eileen is the world’s most brilliant litigator & one of my favorite pastimes is telling people about her work suing the pants off the Dept of Education.

Congratulations to everyone who worked their asses off for something that any semi-decent and ultimately self-interested government should have done in penance www.nytimes.com/2026/08/03/b...

The Trump administration terminated federal grants meant to help underserved farmers access land, markets and capital. 24 farmer organizations and entities sued the USDA. A judge ruled the agency must restore $127 million back to farmers. NEW: capitalbnews.org/black-farmer...

Black Farmers Win Court Case That Restores $127 Million in Federal Grants

The decision reinstates funding for organizations that say the USDA cuts threatened jobs and community programs.

“…convicting them of ‘providing material support to terrorists’ for acts such as printing & distributing leftist zines, joining an anarchist book club, communicating on the same messaging app, or [visiting] the same shooting range. these people are now facing 30-, 50-, 70-, & 100-year sentences.“

I wrote about the Prairieland defendants and the urgency of opposing the extreme sentences handed down on Tuesday. And they likely will not be the last.

Maryland’s 6th congressional district is beautiful, and I’m honored to call it my home. It’s also full of treasures: libraries that create much-needed public spaces, a discoball stairwell in a Frederick parking garage, and the community skate park in Cumberland.

Want to make a billionaire sad? Want to make a BUNCH of billionaires SO sad? Help me win the #MD06 congressional primary tomorrow 6/23. Share my video👇 on why we need a nationwide ban on AI data centers, and make sure all your sixth district friends turn out.

Data centers drain local resources and hike up our electricity bills by staggering amounts. Let's ban AI data centers and redirect those federal funds where they are needed: making childcare free and building affordable housing.

Election Day is TUESDAY! Make a plan ✍️ to get everyone you know out to vote—let’s prove that even the most expensive congressional race in all of American history can’t buy a House seat. Tuesday 6/23 go to the polls and vote your values. And make a billionaire cry ❤️🛹🪩

Hi! I’m Alexis, and I’m running for U.S. Congress to represent #MD06. I’m a technologist, finance nerd, former regulator, and queer mom of 2. I’m not afraid of holding bullies accountable & my experience makes me uniquely qualified to do just that in Congress.

The 3rd person in this race is me! “If a lab could create the perfect congressional candidate for a particular district at this political moment, it might spit out Alexis.” I’m running to ban AI data centers nationwide. Help me beat 2 billionaires in the most expensive House race in HISTORY. ❤️

The American Prospect@prospect.org · 2mo ago

Of the three congressional candidates in Maryland, two are among the richest people in the state. Rep. April McClain Delaney and former Rep. David Trone have spent the last several months in an oligarch war over a seat they claim as theirs to purchase fair and square.

This kind of embarrassing corruption from @kirstengillibrand.bsky.social is why I ran for Congress. Centering the wants of spoiled brat billionaires is a strategy for losers. People desperately need resources, + our leaders do this instead. Send me to Congress, crypto hates me ❤️💅🏻 ElectAlexis.org

If America had a healthy political landscape someone as compromised as @kirstengillibrand.bsky.social wouldn’t be leading the campaign arm of Senate Democrats. Corruption is one of the defining issues of our time & Senate Dems aren’t ready for the moment. This is one of the reasons ↘️
