there’s a point in this dumb bullshit answer where he says “primary residence, or you have to live, whatever that means” and it’s like, dude, you’re the attorney general of texas, of all people, you, specifically, are expected to know *exactly* what that means, more than any other single individual

Ken Paxton when asked by a Fox host about his 3 primary residences (out of his 15 homes). This should clear it up! “So, when we bought a new house, we moved our primary residence to – to a house. So that was both were dictated by the Constitution, and then they changed the Constitution."

Tom Homan on why DHS is sending deportation flights into dangerous condition in Haiti: "We're just enforcing the law, and we're doing it in a way the American people voted for"

this is one of those instances where Trump's inability to deliver a speech that's under a half hour long really hurts him. nobody wants to hear him riff about Venezuela and Iran for an hour+ at an event that's supposed to be nonpartisan and in honor of other people

Trump is speaking to complete silence at the NASA center. Not a single person is applauding or reacting to anything he says during his brazenly partisan speech.

"Good times. Great memories." -- Fox & Friends' tribute to Karoline Leavitt is just a supercut of her being a condescending jerk to reporters. Imagine being proud of acting like this.

“Circumcision is surgery on a kid’s ding-a-ling” — El-Sayed says gender affirming care for kids should be left up to parents and doctors, not the government

Obviously no school has ever *medically* transitioned a student, with or without the parent’s knowledge. She’s talking about stuff like “using a student’s preferred name” and hoping the dimwitted base will imagine covert medical procedures.

Linda McMahon: "After the Biden administration allowed schools to secretly transition students without parents' knowledge, President Trump is defending parental rights like never before"

It's beyond insane that every major paper and news org just let's these pieces of shit lie with every breath they can muster. This is no different than the Comet Pizza basement horseshit only this time it's coming from the Secretary of Education.

Awesome, so ... you're worried about the price of groceries and not foreign affairs. Quick question -- what do you think happened this past year that caused the steady spike in the price of groceries? What totally-divorced-from-foreign-affairs issue?

"Who else wasn't a politician when they started the job? Our president, President Trump ... we're worried about the price of groceries, not Taiwan" -- Fox & Friends did a puffy pre-recorded interview with Darline Graham to try to rehab her image ahead of tomorrow's runoff

one of the many, many things to hate about this admin is the way in which all of these unqualified idiot cabinet heads have no real responsibilities related to their official portfolios and just make the rounds on cable news as uninformed gadfly mouthpieces

Sean Duffy: "The fact we provide their security for them, and they take advantage of us? ... I think you're gonna see Mark Carney come to the table very very quickly, because it's gonna be devastating for his country."

BRENNAN: The president twice said the MMR shot may be lethal. Do you want to clarify that? DR OZ: We want parents to have the autonomy to decide what their kids receive BRENNAN: But he used the term 'lethal.' Do you want to clarify? OZ: The MMR vaccine is not a lethal vaccine

when you finally do the thing you’ve been procrastinating forever and it didn’t actually take that long so instead of feeling proud of yourself for finally doing the thing you’ve been avoiding your first instinct is to feel stupid and guilty for not doing it sooner

Trump: "John McLaughlin, the great pollster, just told me that if 'you ran today, nobody would be within 20 points.' I believe that's right. Unfortunately we have a little rule and regulation that says you're not allowed to run. If they'd like to change that, I'd be very happy."

Brooke Rollins: "We've now moved more than 5m off of the SNAP fraud rolls ... you've got a lot of people moving off the program, which is the goal, at least for conservatives. We don't want to measure the program by how many are on it. We want to measure by how many we are moving to real work."

One assumes this is just the usual Trump BS. But perhaps it’s worth saying that if Trump issued an order to bomb Oman because he’s peeved at them, it would be an illegal order which should not be obeyed.

Trey Yingst: "I just got off the phone with President Trump ... the president told Fox News that Iran should raise the white flag of surrender ... the president said that if Oman gets in the way, 'we'll bomb the s**t out of them""

The cyclospora outbreak has reached 13,895 cases across 47 states. The FDA has recalled 1.6 million eggs due to salmonella contamination. Screwworm cases continue to rise. And we’ve just surpassed 2,500 measles cases — breaking 2025’s record. “Make America Healthy Again.”

Returning from the Nato Summit in Turkey, Trump used a planeload of reporters as an unwitting decoy during a severe assassination threat, subpoenaed journalists who reported something was amiss, then stood up at a black-tie dinner and told those same journalists they’re lucky he puts up with them.

New in PN: Trump uses reporters as human shield, gets feted as guest of honor "The episode highlights the grossly dysfunctional relationship between POTUS & the media, which puts up with ever-escalating abuses as the price of access, & routinely normalizes Trump’s erratic & even criminal behavior."
