A Provincial Election is on the horizon in Alberta! All voters must be prepared to challenge Smith and the UCP on their broken health care promises and attempts at public medical care gaslighting. We just can't accept any excuses on affordability by the treasury either!

Thanks for this deep dive on our premier's non-existent commitment to public health care. #ableg #abpoli #cdnpoli “Once people get used to the concept of paying out of pocket for more things themselves then we can change the conversation on health care,” albertapolitics.ca/2026/07/lets...

I concur Cailynn: “None of this is to suggest every existing bike lane in Alberta is perfect. Individual projects should be evaluated, and some may need to be improved. But those decisions should be guided by evidence and the expertise of transportation planners and engineers, not a dropdown menu.”

I see Folk Fest has put up PurpleAir monitoring stations on the island for the festival. A good step in educating people on the value of up to date air quality readings. Not the "I think it looks smoky out" strategy.

A screenshot from the PurpleAir air quality map. It shows two sensors on Prince's Island for Calgary folk fest. One reading 156, and the other 135. Indicating unhealthy air quality.

happy World Cup final! Lionel Messi is sports’ most undeniable superstar, his victories seemingly inevitable … so it’s wild to note that he’ll be back at the same building he quit Argentina (briefly) 10 years ago some thoughts on a full circle moment of sorts www.cbssports.com/soccer/news/...
