Neurodivergent Asian Gay. My Act 1 jokes are important in Act 3 • running a DWU Masterplan that Unravels… • “Some kinda Toymaker?” • Banner: Holly Lucero (He/Him/They/Them)

Having failed to interest any papers in this story, I resorted to writing a letter to The Times, like in olden times. So when all that's left to watch is NASCAR racing sponsored by Cheetos, I can at least say I tried. #ITV #Sky #Comcast

BBC 10 O'clock news report not only didn't mention Comcast at all, but framed Sky-ITV merger as a way to help them "compete with American streamers". Complete failure of journalism.

Clement Attlee making a timeless observation in 1934: "No one believes that when Sir Oswald Mosley talks about preserving the right to free speech he is really genuine in the matter. He preserves free speech just as long as it suits him."

It’s been nearly three years, and as time’s gone on - having sat with other fans (Asians and otherwise) - it really does irk me that “suck it haters” was a correction added after a decade; but corrections and clarifications have never been issued since about Towers of Hanoi or Gough’s portrayal.

I think it’s vital to call out writers who’ve been dead for 30 years for racism because it still matters, and when it’s been pointed out that what I’ve said is factually incorrect I shouldn’t revise or remove what I’ve said because it was too long ago.

Rarer serious post, but my best friend (and a trans baddie from Turkey) is at risk of being deported after having her asylum claim rejected by the Home Office (who told her Turkey is a safe place for trans women to live). She's lived here for 7 years after moving here for uni 1/3

Justin Richards was one of the key figures of the Wilderness Years, as a prolific and reliable writer and by curating what might be the high point of Doctor Who literature with the mid to late EDAs. All that while being a total gentleman you never heard a bad word about. A genuine loss to Who.

All the love & best to Russell, Bad Wolf and all who have helped shape this era of Doctor Who. I know I've had notes that I would've given at times (one ep in particular!), but for the most part, I understand the vision and got on with it. For the most part, I can see where the production has been-

Paramount+ wanted to use the image on the left as a poster for the wrath of Khan, so they used everyone's least favorite technology to generate the rest of the image.

A close up of captain kirk getting his eyes scanned. It is cut off above the eyebrows and below his mouth. The same image in a thumbnail for Star Trek, the wrath of Khan. But AI has painted the rest of the image so that Kirk is a balding man in a business suit.
