i think giving blood regularly is an underutilized tool that could fight the loneliness pandemic. you get treated so nice and checked in on all the time and if you come in with borderline low blood pressure they treat you soooo carefully and make you promise you won’t get right up.

The rare bit of good traffic safety news. Backup cameras work, and have meaningfully reduced severe injuries among kids under 5 years old caused by backovers. We can argue that cars are too big in the first place, limiting visibility, but this is good tech.
