Finally got around to watching Supergirl, a paper thin plot, a dull pallette & a poor adaptation of King & Bilquis' excellent mini-series. Lead was fine but villain was pisspoor, Lobo was unnecessary & did he have to save Supergirl? Way to demonstrate girl power. Good trauma concept poorly done.

I started to go off John Cleese about 30 years ago from previously adoring the man. I think it was because I realised comedically and creatively speaking he’d peaked so I was loosing interest. So him being a horrible prick has made me feel considerably less guilty about it.
