The way that "Moltbook" is used as the basis for another spin at the "AGI is right around the corner" wheel really shows how hollow tech - specifically AI - discourse really is. Oh wow, a stochastic language model trained on social media posts can generate social media posts.

I recommend not watching the videos, which are chaotic and gut-wrenching, and instead going through Bellingcat's analysis. This man appeared to be zero threat, while the officers were overly-aggressive, agitated, and clearly primed to used lethal force.

Every once in a while I like to test ChatGPT's knowledge. You know, just to see how well it's keeping up with updates in the field and how correct and trustworthy its information is. (Spoiler: it's not.) Despite sounding VERY confident and like it "knows" what it's saying, it turns out it doesn't.

like people who build frameworks. will they talk about how that's done anymore? it seems like so much of the audience has settled for quasi-religious sama style presentations. so it's actually easier to market developer products that way, just magic
