I know making it edgier is more satisfying, but Xin Mo's blade is described as white more than one and it's also as thin as "the wing of a beetle". So the evil bad vibes sword actually has kind of an aura of grace and immortal power.

Also, while I know we (and the illustrations) all give Luo Binghe the mark on his forehead because it looks cool, he doesn't actually keep it visible even as of Book 2. The Huan Hua disciples don't know he's a demon. That's why Sha Hualing goes into disguise mode when she goes back there.

we dunk on the concept of historical and fantasy characters somehow having a perfect understanding of bdsm safety protocols but i think we also need to free ourselves of putting modern terms for gender and sexuality in the mouths of characters who would've never seen a pineapple.

The government is reducing service standards and Canada Post’s biggest advantage: its nationwide network. This plan is about cutting back the postal service instead of investing to give it new revenue tools through things like postal banking. It’s shameful.

I was one of the betas for this. Among other things, it filled a previously unknown to me emotional need for Luo Binghe to still have an uncontested home on Qing Jing Peak. The sprinkle of future Qijiu and Bingliushen setup just made it more delicious. Go read it!!!
