I often think about how this cartoon went from satire to reality in America. People really got bored with having a well functioning government.

Don’t know who to credit for this. But it is how I feel.
It seems people are often afraid of liking their own art work due to the worry of being perceived as egotistical or conceited, but you can still love your work and have a huge driving force behind that acting as a love for learning and improving. You can be proud and seek joy while you grow.
Posting this again to remind you you dont have to be an amazing artist to draw comics!
Kids need/deserve traumatic films. Films that show death or lasting consequences that aren't resolved almost instantly. Fear, anger, grief and frustration should be part of kids movies. Kids arent stupid, they feel big emotions just like adults, they deserve to see those experiences reflected back.

I'm celebrating everyday Americans who get up daily trying to make their world & this world a little better. Volunteer firefighters, drag queen storytellers, the kids who mow lawns in their neighborhood to earn money, special ed teachers, single moms in school, folks who feed the homeless.

Full stop No. This is a lie peddled for normalization. It's schoolyard-level pressure tactics "C'mon, all the cool kids are already doing it. We won't tell. It's fine. We're on your side."
