Definitely human. Trying to be better at this and other things.

The US periodically murders, without trial, people in boats that it has deemed to be involved in drug smuggling. Again: this is murder, plain and simple. There is no law, national or international, that can even pretend to justify it. The US has simply claimed the right to murder whoever it wants.

U.S. military says 5 were killed by a strike on an alleged drug smuggling boat in the eastern Pacific

Trump has sought to justify the attacks by saying they stem the flow of drugs into the U.S., but critics have questioned the overall legality of the boat strikes as well as their effectiveness.

Raskin: "When historians look back on this miserable period of our history, they might say that the first problem was disregarding all those women who told us back in 2016 that they had been sexually harassed or assaulted by Donald Trump."

The vile attacks on Amy Acton need to be seen in the context of a party that *needs* people to believe women fabricating sexual assaults is common as rainwater. Because it’s pretty much the only way to evade the conclusion that the president is a rapist.

Per a new report from House Democrats, Trump's DOJ is withholding evidence of his ties to Epstein and slow-walking the complete release of the Epstein files. It's time to end the cover-up and expose the truth. Remember this when you cast your ballot. www.ms.now/news/house-j...

The report — issued just eight days before the election — makes multiple, uncorroborated allegations against the president while also detailing discrepancies in his statements about Epstein.

This week’s main story is about how more and more white nationalists, antisemites, and Nazi sympathizers seem to be integrating into the Republican Party, how some of them are currently running for office, and how old you can be for JD Vance to consider you “a very young boy.”

Early this year, I visited Ingram, a TX town of ~1,900, to check out a tip. The area was starting to recover from its worst flood in a century. But as Latino workers drove to jobsites to help rebuild, the tipster said, a cop in a black Dodge Charger kept stopping them ... 🧵

This new electoral vídeo from Pedro Sánchez is quite something. Standing in front of Guernica defending the anti-war stance of his government, limiting military expenditure, denouncing the atrocity of Gaza. English subtitles.

The extent to which Israel is totally immune from any of the normal consequences which would be imposed onto almost any other state is hard to describe, and it is something which is true under both parties whenever they hold the Presidency. Here is just one example among many.

Internal State Department communications under the Biden administration referred to a US journalist as 'kidnapped' by the Israeli army, but no substantive effort was made to secure his release or punish Israel for unlawfully detaining him in one of its most notoriously abusive prisons.
