JKR explicitly said she considers anything Potter-related, even fan-made, endorsement of her politics. And every time you engage with this franchise, you signal to the industry that there's still money in it and they should keep pumping out content from full-cast audiobooks to book box partnerships.

Somebody asked me on Reddit why people who use AI to generate Recomp projects are currently being rejected from the communities and what they can do to fix this. I might tweak parts of this to be a more general blog post at some point, but this should be of help to anyone in a similar situation.

The AP discord mods are fucking clowns. Someone is politely asking in different threads if the apworld uses AI, techbros start being super weird about it, and the mods give a spam warning to the polite person??? They are the embodiment of "complaining about bad thing is worse than bad thing"

The point is I wanted to know about the status of multiple projects, not just one. Lots of the same names here because I didnt scroll massively far, but some examples here. I saw other archipelago users complain about the AI chud vibe, and the announcement channel acknowledge the flood of AI slop that doesnt even work.

I was looking at the refs for Umamusume NPCs and what the hell do you mean that someone at cygames was real clothing pilled enough to model a LAPPED ZIPPER on Haiseiko (who looks like an 80s idol) instead of the more modern invisible zip what an unnecessary (positive) detail. I am SHRIEKING.
