I was a huge fan of Brigador, I gifted a dozen copies to people, it was my one Steam review, I bought into the "plucky indie game making good" story, and then one of the devs (gauss) turns out to have posted a bunch of truly heinous transphobic, racist, "anti-woke" shit on a Something Awful spinoff

Gauss (a brigador dev) posting things like "seriously what the fuck is trans representation in video games. you want to be a lady dont you? you're a lady in the videogame. how can you have a whole world viewed based on driving a car stuck between gears and no actually, it's great and you need to respect our position"Gauss, in response to someone explaining why calling covid-19 the "china virus" isn't apt: "why repeat that 6 million jews died? isn't saying that 6 million people died enough information?"
