So, in the neverending shitstorm that is lupus, I am learning about new depths of its cruelty. I have lupus meningitis, feeling super grateful for that lumbar puncture right now cuz otherwise it would have been missed. I'm okayish tho. Also thank you all for sharing. ko-fi.com/johnniejae/g...

This is Loki, our Maine Coon and the cat of our hearts, and he went missing today. We have no idea how he got out, but he’s an elder, indoor cat, the whole region’s in an intense heat wave, and we’re really scared. I doubt I have any followers here in Martinez, CA, but if so, help? It’s SO hot

The school I attended as a child has adopted a liberal AI policy (teachers can allow high school students to use it all the time as long as they cite it, staff can use it all the time as long as they admit it). It was a bad school when I was there, this is so much worse. Nobody will learn anything.

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

Special thanks to the Ken Gibbs Memorial Fund for Youth Science Education. Orcas Island Library." The Orcas Island Library logo looks like a pine cone made out of books.
