Thoughts on the dead singer. Yesterday, my middle aged straight hairy biker son went on one on social media about the dead singer and those eulogising him. He did not hold back. What was unusual was that he took to social media to vent knowing it would attract vile bile. I asked him why.

I think it would be great to have our own bamboo construction culture in Europe. Together with straw, hemp, reed and other peatland crops and timber timber. There is a reason why this is happening in France again at Fiboo.fr, they introduced embodied carbon limits and a bio based material share.
Sean writing about my parish here. It’s resolutely not hip or flash or genteel or elegant, but it’s a proper community. Creating the conditions for new communities like it to grow ain’t rocket science, but it has to be intentional. They can’t grow in a vacuum.
