I think solidarity with trans creators facing harassment is dead, I notice that a lot of trans women getting harassed are now just left to fend for themselves while ””woke”” ecelebs and “left” YouTubers bully them and ostracize them It’s so over

the thing people aren't realizing is that old TV was pretty highly curated the shows that were worse didn't largely *live very long* and would be quickly forgotten except by giant nerds when they died
Brendel@brendelbored.bsky.social · 3d agoIt’s hard to explain but tv was better when you couldn’t watch the show you wanted whenever you wanted to watch it and most of the shows were worse and the TVs were worse and the entire experience was worse, that’s when it was better
I do find it bitterly amusing that every single social media website has people on it willing to state, with the utter confidence of a toddler, that the users of Their Blorbo Website are the Real People and that all other sites' users are contemptible idiot rubes
kind of have to wonder how much of the backlash against this is specifically rooted in "i require my social media doomscrolling to make me feel like a good person" like i notice a lot of weird smugness about how people on here are just a higher form of life than everyone else
