I don’t think people quite understand that the occupation by ICE in the Twin Cities has more or less erased non-white people from public life. They cannot safely exist in any space accessible to the public and moving between private places leaves folks vulnerable to kidnapping by armed masked goons.

To be clear (since NPR isn't), the "joke" is premised on the fact that Trump is kidnapping people w/o due process and shipping them to offshore concentration slave camps in defiance of court orders, human rights accordances, the U.S. constitution, all tenets of common decency, and international law.

Periodic reminder that the original head of Hillsdale College divorced his first wife to marry his mistress, an employee. While married to wife #2 he was alleged to have had an affair with his own son’s wife who committed suicide on campus. They’d prefer you not know all that though.
