This is why monsters like Acton can never be elected. It normalizes Nazism. Here is a guy openly stating that it is reasonable to call little girls slurs, and strip them of their basic civil rights, and using far right athletes and right wing parents as an excuse to be a Nazi.

All she said was that she doesn’t support boys playing in girl sports. That’s reasonable. Many female athletes and parents of athletes agree with her. That’s why she won.

So many people are acting like it's all over and they won. Like, they ain't even in office yet, right? The world openly hates the states now yet folks think that suddenly it's friends on again. It's not celebration time, it's keep them inundated with demands until they're sworn in at the very least!

As we remember Brianna, also remember that hate crime is increasing against trans individuals. For all the talk about the "trans debate" you are talking about people's lives. That isn't a debate. Trans and non-binary individuals are being killed and yet we are still told our lives are up for debate.

Happy Birthday, Brianna Ghey. You will always be in our hearts; we will never forget you, and we will never stop till this country is a safe place for trans people. Rest in power 🫶♥️

A smiling young woman in glasses and a brown striped sweater makes a playful finger-heart gesture at a picnic table in a green park.

for the record, james talarico did not 'walk back' his anti-trans comments. he reiterated that his support on anti-trans sports bans was contingent on it being 'sport by sport' rather than a blanket ban and restated that he would support a nationwide ban on trans healthcare for children.

In 1970s and 80s, Fidel Castro sent the Cuban Army to Angola to fight against the South African forces, which Mandela credited with weakening the apartheid. Mandela, during a 1991 visit to Havana, described the Castro-led Cuban Revolution as "a source of inspiration to all freedom-loving people."

Nelson Mandela took a trip to Cuba shortly after his release from prison in 1991 to thank Fidel Castro and the Cuban people for their support.

The New York Times is currently running seven (7!) articles where they smugly celebrate the destruction of trans rights and the wholesale abandon of our community in the last year, but the idea that we could maybe possibly sometime in the future get some civil rights back is simply unacceptable.

New York Times, Michelle Cottle:
Promoting a Democratic legislative agenda must remain central as well. Mr. Jeffries is charting a sensible course so far. The party’s first 100 days agenda will focus on restoring Affordable Care Act premium subsidies and Medicaid funding cut in Mr. Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill, ending the Iran war and curtailing the president’s tariffs. These are all core concerns for a majority of Americans — unlike, say, restoring transgender rights and protections, as some Democrats are raring to do.

Really seems like they need to familiarize themselves with Mazlow's Heirarchy of Needs. Ain't nobody going to have time for seeking joy when we're worried about where our next meal, healthcare, and bill payments are coming from.

109 years ago the Bolsheviks stormed the Winter Palace in Petrograd and brought down the Provisional Government. For the first time in human history a working class movement had taken state power and set out to build a society organized around human need instead of profit.
