And that despair not only limits imagination but is also a spiritual death that leaves us helpless when facing humanity’s adversaries.
It also creates mechanisms for control. It gives them the ability to curate everything they want us to see and therefore our entire existence eventually. They set the tone and taste without us knowing they're doing it

Open world games have really been helpful with retaining my spatial reasoning. I have mental maps of games I haven't played in years. IRL I like to GPS on the first trip somewhere and then slowly form my own mental map without it, looking at street names. But more than anything, I like to walk.

I changed my password manager, email provider, and music provider last month. I'm surprised at how easy it was, once I got over some initial bugs and UI differences. The music apps are definitely not all created equal though. Seriously, why is Spotify the only platform that lets you block artists?
Congrats! 🎉 Some say this feature undermines interoperability. I disagree. The open web needs discretion too. Advocating to remove that agency reeks of the same entitled rhetoric of debate-me bros, and reinforces walled garden norms. The choice to limit your audience is yours.
