Been seeing this kind of rancid take a lot lately. It's not bullying to tell your friends they're doing something unethical, and if your response to them is to go whine on social media about it, you're just telling the whole world that enabling fascists is fine by you, as long as it's entertaining

Gonna be real, the main reason I'm hoping the genAI fad dies sooner is so people stop having to bully their own friends into 'not using this service/playing this game' etc, or else treat them like the worst human beings imaginable. Treating issues gracefully doesn't exist online these days lol.

HEY, SO- If I ban you it's for a reason, don't go to my friend's channel and complain that I've banned you. Not only does it bring down the vibes of THEIR stream, but also I'll bring up WHY to them and it's their choice what to do with that information.

I have become so much more comfortable with banning off bad vibes versus having to justify with an actual technical rule break and it's nice tbh If someone makes you uncomfy they don't belong in your space 🤷‍♀️

to anyone who has a community, or anything like it: i implore you to understand that you can do this too. if someone's vibes smell like diarrhea dogshit, you can just throw them out. they don't need to explicitly break five rules and acquire three strikes. you can just kill them.

I think I've figured out what the problem is! Still no stream this week tho because ironically I had to partially gut my OBS before finding the issue. Not slacking off though! I'm gonna try to use this time to update things I've been meaning to and set plans for the future!

I hate to do this but after some troubleshooting, it *is* a computer problem. I can no longer stream for now until OBS fixes its issues or I get a new one entirely. I've been raising funds over the past year for a new pc but I'm still not there yet. ko-fi.com/procyonvt/go...

I’m probably not gonna stream until I figure out what’s broken or get a new pc. I can’t fucking do this every time. I’m genuinely heartbroken. This and everything that’s been going on on-site has just killed my motivation. Not exactly pleasant but figured I should be upfront about it.

I sincerely believe that before people jump ship from Twitch, that you look into alternative ways to support your favorite streamers. People are saying to stop subbing but streaming is often people's income so look for dono links to ko-fi or other platforms, and if youre a creator, SET ONE UP!!

do not abandon your streamers. your time watching is more valuable to most streamers than anything else, if you don't want to give money to twitch you don't have to. look for your streamers alternative support methods. if you want them to make content, they need you there.
