Really disappointed that it turns out the program I was using for editing LaTeX (TeXstudio) recently pivoted to LLM slop. Thankfully the 4.2.3 version that came with Debian Bookworm didn't have the slop AND doesn't have the weird spellchecker bug that makes it unable to handle contractions.

Fuck yeah, Codeberg just officially banned slopcode.

I'm pretty confident this is way more words than I've ever put into a creative thing before

So I have done absolutely no research to correlate this but one of the little things I've started considering as a recession indicator is big websites doing adblocker crackdowns. (Fandom and Youtube in recent months in this case. Back in 2020 it was Twitch)

I -deeply- appreciate any creatives and developers who explicitly declare non-usage of slop in their work.
