It’s simply unimaginable that CDC Director Dr. Erica Schwartz has just bowed to RFK Jr. and approved funding for an utterly unethical clinical trial that will withhold the birth dose of HepB vaccine in Guinea Bissau. It is to be conducted by researchers accused of academic misconduct.

CDC Is Moving Forward With a Previously Shelved Controversial Hepatitis B Vaccine Study

“It’s a wholly unethical trial, and it shouldn’t be allowed,” says Dr. Paul Offit of Guinea-Bissau study

I am in Cap Haitien interviewing people deported from the United States. I have been doing this kind of work for almost a decade and it literally does not get more dire than this. People have lost everything they built in the U.S. and are terrified and have no place to go or way to live.

7 shots fired into an SUV with a 5-year-old child in the back seat as the vehicle was moving away. Markwayne Mullin claims the driver “weaponized” his vehicle. Bullshit! “Weaponized vehicle” has become ICE’s go-to excuse for shooting folks. Where’s the evidence? It’s not in this new footage.

So let's get this straight: Russia just murdered over 65 people in Ukraine in less than 48 hours. Crushed a building on top of sleeping families to celebrate Putin's birthday. And today, the U.S. announces that they are lifting sanctions on Russian diesel and planning to buy some,

The United States is now officially allied with Vladimir Putin and Russia. We will fund Russia’s genocidal war machine in exchange for Putin helping Trump and the Republican Party in the midterms. One of the most shameful and disgusting days in the history of this Republic.

“We are enforcing the nation’s laws. Why is that controversial?” The Fugitive Slave Act. The Three-Fifths Compromise. The Nuremberg Laws. Dred Scott. The Indian Removal Act. The Law for Protection of German Blood. Anti-miscegenation laws. The Defense of Marriage Act. The Reichstag Fire Decree.

Mullin began the press conference by saying "We are enforcing this nation's laws. Why is it controversial? Why would that be controversial?" As if all of human history doesn't show that laws and their enforcement can be very controversial (e.g., the 1765 Stamp Act and its impact on U.S. history).

People watching the student protests in France and fixating on the rioting instead of asking why the protests are happening are like gnats mesmerised by a light bulb. The students’ core demands are incredibly basic. That’s what should be amplified, addressed and resolved.

Something unprecedented happened during my visit to the Gulf. For the first time in 20 years in Congress, I was denied entry to U.S. military facilities and even meetings with military leaders. An order from Hegseth - that applies to both parties - to hide the cost of the war.
