Patrick Stewart's passing feels a whole hell of a lot like Dolly's. It's hard to imagine that singular talents found in people born in the working class or working poor will get fostered the ways theirs were. The things that nurtured those talents have been stripped for profit by assholes.

This is why we can't go backwards. We need to clean house. These are Republicans. Have always been Republicans. They're running as Dems because it's a hustle, not because they believe in anything. No more branches of the Obama/Biden/Pelosi/Schumer party. Make them run as the Republicans they are.

Jason Turkish, a Democratic mega donor, described his decision to back Republican Mike Rogers over Abdul El-Sayed as "putting country before party."

this is literally the first no regret move that would reap INSTANT benefits. low hanging fruit. day one you take this guy out back and put two in the back of his balance sheet and start the deportation proceedings. the rest of them will perk right up. this is easy, easy stuff

putting this guy in the economic dirt would be the easiest thing in the world. all his money is based on either regulatory credit arbitrage or straight up government largesse. you could wipe him out with a stroke of a pen. you could also then jail him. and then deport him.

i wonder what percentage of the electorate now understands that this man and maybe 75 other people like him are actively trying to destroy our lives. that he is the biggest national security threat we have faced, even moreso than bin laden or whoever. its got to be dawning on more and more people

NEW: Elon Musk gave his super PAC $76 million in just two weeks of October, and more than half of its new candidate spending went to one race: the Texas Senate fight against James Talarico. He’s now given more than $445 million this cycle, far more than he spent electing Trump.

University leaders trying to engage the right wing assault on higher education is such a bad idea because the criticism is bad faith, good faith will never be reciprocated, and they have the demolition of the university as a core movement goal. You can’t make peace with it, you can only defeat it.

Wild and revealing interview with Steve Bannon about Trump's attack on universities. ""Universities, Bannon said, are the only reason that Democrats are “able to compete with us.”" www.bostonglobe.com/2026/10/27/n...

impeach them all. fuck em. why should they get to fly around on our dime and hurt people? “they’ll never actually removed from office” who gives a shit? I want them miserable every day for the rest of the term. I hope they have nightmares. air their dirty laundry. make em sweat

Meta strongly appears to be an enemy of democracy in the US. Proceed accordingly. If you're a politician, activist, or organization on the left, you HAVE to build your presence off of Meta and X - which basically means here and Mastodon. Bring your audience over as much as possible. It's critical.

Hey Meta 👋 We are currently hosting a get-out-the-vote rally in Osceola County, home to a large Puerto Rican community, and our #LatinosConAngie Instagram page was suddenly taken down while we were actively posting content from the event.
