When a character hits critical mass in terms of popularity in the R34 space, I just stop being attracted to them entirely. By that point, the woobified bara fetish version of a character has pretty much replaced the original, and it damages my perception of them.

🔞 No Minors / I POST AND REPOST GAY AND/OR FURRY PORN OFTEN. Furry liker but only vaguely furry himself. Likes programming, old computers, video games (too much), cats Part time anthro bull. Full time grumpy old man yelling at clouds.
Purebred cats show up regularly in movies and shows that are set in times when they simply did not exist. Most of the "breeds" we have today were just created within the last hundred years for no reason other than humans feeling entitled to bespoke living creatures that we've sculpted to our whims.
Prompts a fun question: whats the most niche historical inaccuracy in a piece of work that annoys you Not like 'oh they were referring to the wrong king' , more 'they had the wrong king on a banknote in one scene'
I just don't care about any ~law enforcement~ story coming out of this administration because the idea of this man enforcing laws is preposterous on its face. We're talking about an arsonist doing fire code inspections. You're a sucker if you engage with any of it in good faith
Commission for @tavvron.bsky.social thanks for commissioning! :D
This is what happens when you elevate “civil discourse” to be the greatest good. All of the sudden, it’s worse to call someone a Nazi than it is to be a Nazi.
"Jon Ossoff, my advice to him is, if you start calling your political opponents Nazis, maybe it's time to shut up. That's just not what we do here in this country." -- David Brooks, this evening. Remember, Brooks still gets very handsomely rewarded by the fossilized media for saying shit like this

If I built an AI lab and it went rogue and released ALL of the Epstein files, I’m betting they’d suddenly figure out how to prosecute me.
If I built an AI lab and it went rogue and deleted all student loan information, I'm betting they'd suddenly figure out how to prosecute me.
I'm guessing conservative politicians in the UK don't get the same deal conservative politicians in the US get, where bulk purchases of their shitty books inflate the sales numbers to be not so embarrassing?
Suella Braverman selling 106 copies of her book after all that publicity is so delicious.
Part of me was a bit annoyed by how long it took before Halsin would actually let you be in a relationship with him in BG3 but omg it was SO worth the wait

So, the reason we mock horrible fascists is not to make fascists change their minds. It is to show they are mockable. It breaks the veneer of respectability and power. It gives others social permission to mock them. Satire is poisonous to power because it makes opposition both fun and collaborative.
You know, friend, I don't think I'll be following you back.
I used to think TLC's "No Scrubs" was unnecessarily belligerent and mean for no reason but as I've gotten more self-worth and experience in relationships... ok now I'm starting to get it
I had enthusiastic plans to take part on some October drawing challenges, mainly Kinktober mixed with traditional media Inktober, but alas I've not managed to time it well. But, the very least, what I have managed to do so far is this traditionally drawn and inked work of Gul'dan!
its feels like a mass psychosis where tech leaders continue to insist you can be cruel, mean, and hurt the feelings of lines of code
“you got that hit mail piece on Talarico?” “sure thing, boss, real fucking sexy just like you asked” “what?”
New America PAC mailer just dropped and I regret to report that I want the tshirt version
the reason “AI will create so much abundance we will have a utopian society” rhetoric falls so flat is that the people building it will never, ever share their bounty unless it is taken from them and we all know it
Man who won’t give his employees piss breaks claims many piss breaks on the horizon
A doodle... or rather, a practice sketch I drew about half a month ago. (I haven't really drawn anything lately that's suitable for posting...)
“girl cats are mean” “girl cats are standoffish” “girl cats are —“ my girl cat is constantly trying to put her nose inside my nose so have you considered that it’s a you problem
i thought “material girl” was about fabric/sewing. My mom was into sewing, and madonna’s videos had all that red fabric going all over. so I just thought Madonna was just living in a material world of sewing
To put this in perspective chestnut trees used to be dominant species in the United States. Billions of trees were killed by fungal blight and now fully grown America chestnuts are functionally extinct. There is no getting them back. Ever. All for a data center. www.gadgetreview.com/one-of-ameri...
One of America’s Last Chestnut Groves Is About to Be Destroyed for a Data Center
A rare 200-tree American chestnut grove in West Virginia may be cleared for data-center development, but the project denies the site is on its land.
