Looking at the degree to which Stevens is punking Abdul in rural white areas can we stop with the they need someone to speak to their economic insecurity? They heard it loud and clear and do not give a fuck.
Sort of like how no one knows how big Los Angeles is no one seems to appreciate how many voters there are in Wayne County vs the rest of Michigan.
Looks like a 10-15 point polling miss in Michigan regardless of who wins. And people have been writing a lot of electability takes using this data. It’s dangerous out there folks be safe

I worry that most cynical among us, hopped up on 30 years of law and order rhetoric, will say "this is the system working: he didn't do anything wrong and now he's free." As if the terror and wide-scale publicity of an arrest and federal prosecution is not a horrible punishment in and of itself.
