If you're an artist or developer in the #XR or immersive experience space, please create builds of your work. It's staggering to see how many public experiences rely on someone starting Unity/Unreal and hitting play. It just looks bad and risks losing a ton of performance to in-editor overhead.

For some reason the guy deleted his post, I suspect because of the thousands of notifications, but for the daytime crowd here's this. Windows is feeding everything you type to AI. Checked myself, several FFXIV and WoW guildies confirmed it's there and turned on by default. Go turn it off.

A screencap of Windows 11 settings, down the Time & Language > Typing > Typing Insights branch where Windows 10 & 11 have "Typing Insights" toggled on as default. The text says "Windows is using artificial intelligence to help you type" and absolutely the hell not, turn that shit off right now.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I kinda miss DRS as the one gimmick, for the simple fact that a performance difference was immediately visible. With the current battery gimmicks I have no clue who is about to attack whom, and it feels just as artificial. #f1 #miamigp

I am boycotting #SIGGRAPHAsia 2026 because it will be in Malaysia, where there are serious safety concerns for the LGBTQ+ members of our community, thereby excluding them. I will not attend, submit my work to, or perform any reviews for SIGGRAPH Asia 2026. Yet, I'm excited about #SIGGRAPHAsia 2025!
