In the space of about 2 1/2 years I lost both of my parents. In the midst of it I fell into a deep existential crisis and all the depression that comes with it. Finding Hazbin was the first thing in a long time that actually sparked new joy for me in that time in a way that’s hard to describe

As a kid who grew up in a christian home and has a complicated relationship to religion/faith, Hazbin's approach to morality, good vs evil, redemption, corruption and growth has made me feel seen in a way fictional stories rarely do. There's a lot of nuance to unpack, especially from Heaven's side.

The Hellaverse has gotten me through some very tough times. The shows’ messages of hope and resilience gave me comfort when I wanted to give into despair. Seeing these silly dorks finding joy in literal hell inspired me to appreciate the simple pleasures in life.

Ok question to my fellow people who wear a bra. How often do y'all change? Like I'm in a comment section with people saying that they wear it for weeks without washing and many people agree? I change everyday, because of sweat? This is not meant to call out people, I'm just curious 😅

As someone who was born missing half my left arm, I lacked a lot of confidence growing up, especially as a teen. Seeing a character with prosthetics that is self-assured, not to mention an in-canon sex symbol, was incredibly healing for a part of me that still struggled with that. Fizz has my ❤️.

Some time after I got into the Hellaverse (this would have been a couple weeks before the start of Helluva season 2) I had a spark of autism that culminated in me making a 9 minute video where I turned Angel Dust in to a World of Warcraft raid boss. This shit is an infinite creativity generator.

Very simple and sweet but I literally owe the Hellaverse fandom my life They've kept me housed and fed for two years straight, the cast and crew have been so lovely and some have even gone out of their way to help me as well Idk where I'd be without this space

Jade: why are these shows so important to us… In 2020, we lost our body’s mother. We looked up a pilot that a friend had recommended about a demon princess and her girlfriend. Think about it like this, the person who had supported us even if she was abusive at times, was gone.

After my friend got me interested by showing me Oh, Millie, I was so excited, I spent a whole day cleaning my apartment before I allowed myself to watch it. I laughed all the way through my first binge of the series & re-watched it several times the following months 😍 It is part of me forever now 🤭
