A much more thought out animation with our full set of ascent and descents before the eye wall monster got us. We believe we may have gotten as low as 10m above the ocean surface on the final arrested descent.

I was awestruck by Matera, Italy. Considered the 3rd oldest city on earth, residents lived in hand dug caves, which have been added retrofitted for centuries. Poor conditions and disease forced the removal of 15k inhabitants in the 1950s. A UNESCO designation in 1990s opened the door to restoration🤯

California's electricity generation from gas in June so far is way down compared to previous years: -40% from 2025 -70% from 2021 Solar + battery storage are pushing gas out in the middle of the day and evening peak. A big step-up in wind generation is reducing gas further.

Cool analysis! The turbine makes sense. This design would spread radioactive material from the nuclear core. The problem with that is that except for the 2019 accident, that material hasn't been seen in conjunction with Burevestnik tests.
