Since 1973, in the US over 200 death row prisoners were exonerated and released due to evidence of innocence. This ratio means that for roughly every 8 people executed 1 person on death row has been exonerated. Via Death Penalty Information Center (DPIC)

So, either I get a small shrub in tickets, or pay £1.40 more, or use GWR for more £. All because Trainline, when doing split tickets cannot persuade the authorities to let the few evaders go. Don't get me started on the ticket office, closed sadly, selling me the same journey for a lot less on 2 tix
