I've been seeing one of those classic Republican campaign scare ads. The voice over darkly intones the Dem candidate (Josh Turek?) is a radical leftist just like *gasp* Chuck Schumer! 👻😱 Just a reminder that the GOP will call ANY Dem "radical left", and has been forever.

Never forget it is the CEO's and the rest of boss class who need US, as workers. We don't need THEM. The workers can run industry without bosses of any kind.

If you actually examine the historical record of “anti-communism” it’s shocking how close it actually matches the description of the murderous extremist movement they claim that communism is. “White terrors” killed 1 million in Indonesia, 35,000 in Taiwan, 400,000 in Spain, and on and on.

The beautiful game. The people’s game. Throughout this World Cup, we have been reminded of a simple truth: football belongs to everyone. So does the joy and community it creates. Yesterday, I joined New Yorkers on Rikers Island to watch England take on Argentina.

This was good, actually. Nuclear energy is a nightmare, way too many problems associated with it, potential Fukushimas, the nuclear waste, insanely expensive, the uranium mining is often on indigenous land etc. Sunshine and wind are free and unlimited fuels that don't pollute. Nukes are nuts.

The next time you hear somebody claim that rape culture doesn't exist, point them to this famous television personality saying in public under his real name "every guy rapes women, rape is so normal that it's not even rape."
