Trans, she/her. I got a dick and two balls, that's more than you all.

I've been seeing one of those classic Republican campaign scare ads. The voice over darkly intones the Dem candidate (Josh Turek?) is a radical leftist just like *gasp* Chuck Schumer! 👻😱 Just a reminder that the GOP will call ANY Dem "radical left", and has been forever.

The CEOs aren't smarter than you. They're not making rational, savvy decisions on behalf of shareholders, customers, and employees. They're entitled idiots with their heads up their own asses, endlessly siphoning the fruits of other people's ideas and labor. And they're usually criminals, tbh.

This Day in Labor History: August 1, 1917. Hired thugs in Butte, Montana lynched the IWW organizer Frank Little. Let's talk about this incredibly brave and committed organizer, murdered for his talk of radical organization of miners, who, as a matter of fact, weren't' even interested in it.

trans rights frankly is a top 5, potentially top 3 issue for me despite not being trans and not having any trans family being bigoted against trans folks not only hurts my trans friends and every trans person but is so predictive of further bigotry

The Republicans are shrieking about all the horrors Fauci supposedly inflicted on them during the pandemic. In March of 2020 Republicans were saying we sacrifice the elderly to reopen economy. This should have been an albatross hung upon them forever.

Texas' lieutenant governor suggests grandparents are willing to die for US economy

Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick appeared on Fox News' 'Tucker Carlson Tonight' and said the U.S. should go 'back to work.'

Most rural areas have a ruling class. And they want cheap unfree workers & to pass their fiefdoms on tax-free forever. It ain't rocket science. The fact that we're scared to talk about THAT, ime, is what's costing us a lot of rural voters!

Democracy in our homes (tenants union) and workplaces (labour unions) is the key to unlocking the collective power of working folks. We can’t rely on the electoral system, where we look to sympathetic elites to advocate for us.

Milton Friedman is best understood as a fantasy author, who created a fictional, magical, impossible economic system called "free enterprise" which operates under the same rules as capitalism but miraculously results in the opposite outcomes. Capitalists and their fanboys like to pretend it's real.

"The great achievements of civilization have not come from government bureaus." — Milton Friedman. They were driven by individual liberty and free markets. And they always will be.

I sometimes (stupidly) look at X because some of my fav baseball commentators are there. One Cardinals history account posted something nice about Jordan Walker's mom, and saw just the most vile racist shit in the replies. The Lenin quote below is unrelated.

This was good, actually. Nuclear energy is a nightmare, way too many problems associated with it, potential Fukushimas, the nuclear waste, insanely expensive, the uranium mining is often on indigenous land etc. Sunshine and wind are free and unlimited fuels that don't pollute. Nukes are nuts.

Soon: “women need to be *protected* from the ‘rough and tumble’, competitive world of business” and “women are the *biological* caregivers”, and “don’t you worry your pretty little head about that complicated science stuff. I’ll take care of you” If you could‘t see this coming, you deserve it.

The sneering Cardinals haters got some heartburn and heartache yesterday when rising slugger Jordan Walker won the homerun derby. They've gloated over the downfall the past few seasons, but the lovable and magnetic young Walker portends Redbird rebirth.
